Terms & Conditions

The basis on which our locksmith service operates.

These terms describe the basis on which 123 Atlanta Locksmith 247 operates and the basis on which this website is provided. They are written in plain language rather than dense legal formatting, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

About the Service

123 Atlanta Locksmith 247 is a mobile locksmith company. Our locksmiths attend homes, businesses, and vehicles across the Atlanta metro area. It does not operate a retail storefront, and there is no location for customers to visit. All work is carried out at the location where the lock, door, or vehicle is.

Because our locksmiths work across the metro rather than from a single fixed address, coverage is broader than a single shop could offer, but it also depends on which of our locksmiths are working a given area at a given time. That trade-off is described honestly throughout this site rather than presented as unlimited availability.

Authorisation and Proof

You must be the owner of the property or vehicle, or otherwise authorised to request work on it. This is not a formality. The attending technician will ask for confirmation before opening a locked door, rekeying a lock, or making a key, and may decline to proceed if that confirmation cannot be provided.

For vehicle work, proof of ownership such as a registration or title is required before a key is cut or programmed. For a rental property, a tenant may need the landlord's or property manager's authorisation depending on the work requested, particularly where hardware is being changed rather than simply opened.

Service Availability

Coverage and response times depend on which of our locksmiths are working an area at a given time. The areas listed on this site reflect a general operating footprint. They are not a promise that service can be provided at a particular address at a particular hour, and our team will tell you plainly if availability for your location is uncertain.

Any timing given when you call is an estimate made in good faith based on the information available at that moment. Traffic, weather, and the progress of other jobs can affect it.

Scope of Work and Pricing

The attending technician reviews the job and explains the expected work before starting, so that you can decide how to proceed with the scope in front of you. Pricing depends on the service, the hardware involved, its condition, any parts required, and the time of day, as described on the pricing page.

If the nature of a job changes once work is underway, for example where a lock proves more worn than it appeared, the technician will explain that before continuing rather than afterwards.

Limits of What Can Be Done

Some work cannot be completed on site or at all, and this is stated rather than discovered late. Certain vehicles require dealer equipment for key programming. Some safes, particularly high-security models, cannot be opened without significant impact or cannot practically be opened at all. Large networked access control installations across many doors are a different kind of project than a standard visit. Where something falls outside what can be done, you will be told.

Property and Existing Condition

Locks, doors, frames, and vehicles presented for work are frequently already worn or damaged. Where pre-existing damage or wear is relevant to the job, the technician will point it out before starting. Some methods appropriate to a given lock or safe carry an inherent risk of cosmetic or functional impact; where that is the case it is explained in advance so the decision is yours.

Website Content

Information on this site is provided for general guidance about locksmith work and about how this service operates. It may change without notice. It is not a substitute for an on-site assessment by a technician, and nothing on this site should be treated as a diagnosis of a particular lock, door, or vehicle you have not had looked at.

Descriptions of local areas, housing types, and typical hardware are general observations intended to be useful, not statements about any specific property.

Intellectual Property

The text, layout, and images on this website are the property of the business or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced wholesale for commercial purposes without consent, though quoting a passage with attribution is entirely reasonable.

Payment

Payment for work is settled with the attending locksmith at the time of the visit, on the basis of the scope explained to you before work began. If you have questions about accepted payment methods, ask our team when you call so there are no surprises at the door.

Cancellation and Changes

If your situation changes after you have called, for example you locate a missing key before the technician arrives, call back and let our team know. Doing so releases the technician for other work and keeps scheduling accurate for other people waiting. There is no penalty for a reasonable change of circumstances, though repeatedly arranging and cancelling visits may affect whether further work can be arranged.

Limitation of Liability

Work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, liability is limited to the direct consequences of the work performed and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses such as lost income, missed appointments, or costs arising from being unable to access a property or vehicle for a period of time.

Where a job involves an inherent risk that has been explained to you in advance, and you have asked for the work to proceed on that basis, the outcome you were warned about is not treated as a failure of the work.

Third-Party Property

If you ask for work on property or a vehicle that is not yours, you are responsible for having obtained the owner authorisation. The technician own check of authorisation is a safeguard, not a substitute for you having the right to request the work in the first place.

Use of This Website

You are welcome to read, print, and share pages from this site for your own purposes. What is not permitted is using the site in ways that interfere with it or with other people using it: attempting to gain unauthorised access to the server, scraping the site at a volume that degrades it for others, or reproducing its content wholesale to present as your own.

The site is provided as it is. Reasonable effort goes into keeping it accurate and available, but no website can promise uninterrupted availability, and hosting, connectivity, and maintenance all occasionally interrupt access.

Accuracy of Information You Provide

Sending the right locksmith depends on the information you give being accurate: the location, the nature of the property or vehicle, and for vehicle work the year, make, and model. Where details turn out to be materially different from what was described, the work that can be carried out on that visit may differ from what was discussed, and in some cases a return visit with different equipment is required.

This is not a matter of catching anyone out. A technician arrives with the tools and parts suited to what was described, and an inaccurate description simply means the wrong equipment travels to the job.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute arising in connection with them or with work performed is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision is treated as removed and the remaining provisions continue to apply. The removal of one clause does not invalidate the rest.

Raising a Concern

If something about a visit was not right, the first and fastest step is to call and say so, describing what happened and when. Most issues are resolved more quickly through a direct conversation than through any formal process, and a concern raised promptly is far easier to look into than one raised long after the fact.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. The date below shows when they were last updated, and the version published at the time of your visit is the one that applies.
